Direct Fit for Original Traeger Models The auger motor we offer is a direct fit for a variety of Traeger grill models, including the Traeger 070, 075, Texas Elite Series, Pro 22, Pro 34, Lil Tex Elite Series, Camp Chef smoker grill, and Pit Boss Wood Pellet Grills (EXCEPT PTG).
Auger Motor Feature Our auger motor is designed to operate at 2.0 RPM, 110V, 60Hz, and 2 Pole. It comes with an auger pin suitable for multiple models. The primary function of this motor is to generate the necessary power to push pellets into the fire pot, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
Upgraded Auger Motor We have upgraded the auger motor wire to UL1332/18AWG PEP Material, Special High Voltage and High-Temperature Resistance Wire. This upgrade makes the motor more durable and resistant to high temperatures, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Easy to Install Installation is straightforward: - Remove the hopper to access the motor. - Remove the burned-out or neglected motor. - Install it as it was, ensuring a seamless fit and function.
Maintain Feed Tube To prevent sawdust jams: - Clean out your auger tube. - Blow it out with compressed air from the fire pot end while the hopper is empty. This step is crucial to ensure smooth operation.
When to Replace an Auger Motor A pellet grill auger motor is essential for keeping the fuel moving into the firepot. If you notice hardwood pellets not feeding to the fire, it may be time to consider replacing the auger motor.
Charging the Auger To charge the auger: - Add a small amount of pellets to the hopper. - Place a large handful on the igniter in the fire pit. The fire will ignite, and the auger tube will take a while to charge. - The controller will stop feeding pellets if the fire is not lit for five minutes. Turning off the grill and then allowing it to reset the igniter sequence will help in charging the auger properly. - Once the auger is charged, you will see pellets dropping into the fire pot.
By following these steps and ensuring your auger is properly maintained, you can enjoy optimal performance and longevity from your Traeger grill.
